vivo smartphones allow you to read Near Field Communication (NFC) tags that contain product information, and you can also use functions such as mobile payment, identity verification, transportation card value-adding, transportation card balance inquiry, data transmission, and application sharing.
The battery contains an NFC antenna. Handle the battery carefully to avoid damaging the NFC antenna.
1. Before using this feature:
- Check the location of the NFC antenna on your phone and other devices.
- Make sure NFC is enabled on your phone and other devices you want to connect to.
- Make sure your phone's screen is unlocked. Otherwise, the phone will not be able to read the NFC tag or receive data.
2. How to use the NFC function?
Use NFC to send images or contacts to other devices and read product information on NFC tags. If you insert a SIM or USIM card with payment capabilities, you can make payments conveniently using this device.
- On your phone screen: Press "Settings" > "Bluetooth& Device" > "NFC" and select "On/Off"
- Place the NFC antenna area on the back of your phone close to the NFC tag
- Information from this label will appear
3. How to make purchases through NFC function?
You must add payment method information (such as bank credit card, Octopus, etc.) to your mobile phone to use the NFC function for payment. For details on adding payment methods, please contact your service provider.
- On your phone screen: Press "Settings"> "Bluetooth& Device">"NFC" and select "ContactlessPayments"
- In "Default Payment App", select "Google Pay"
- Touch the NFC antenna area on the back of your phone to the NFC card reader
- To set your default payment method information, tap & Pay, then select Apps
Note: The payment method's service list may not be displayed or stored within the payment application.
